All gifts from God are precious, and time is one of His gifts. We don't know how much time we have on Earth, but we do know that he has plans for us and that he wants us to use the time allotted wisely.

The time that you dedicate to the church is part of Kingdom building on Earth. There are many ways to donate your time and energy at Providence, so consider a few things on this list:

• Attend weekly church services

• Join a Bible study group

• Attend weekly prayer service

• Volunteer during Vacation Bible School

• Join one of Providence's many choirs

• Participate in church spring-cleaning day

• Participate in planning committees for church-wide events (e.g., Unity Season, Men's & Women's Seasons, Annual Church Cookout).

• Join a ministry, club, or committee and participate in their activities (e.g., Men's Fellowship, Hospitality Committee). 

• Attend quarterly conferences throughout the year and the annual conference at the end of the year.

We donate our time to Christ because we know that it pleases God. "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthian 15:58).
